We LOVED our stay here and missed it after we left. Everything was perfect except perhaps the lack of enough hot water when four people needed a shower, but all good. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!!!

Charmerende hytte ved sort strand

Vi havde et dejlig ophold i den hyggelige, store hytte #1. Den lidt ældre hytte havde sin helt egen charme og var meget pæn og rengjordt ved ankomst. Børnene elskede den store hems hvor de sov og kunne se ned til det store køkken/alrum. Selve køkkenet var godt indrettet med stort køleskab, 4 kogeplader, ovn og vask. Vi har dog savnet nogle køkkenredskaber som fx. en palet eller en osteskærer. Hvis man har tænkt sig at booke et længere ophold i hytten er det måske godt at vide at der ikke er nogen vaskemaskine i huset. Nærmeste myntvask findes på en campingplads i Selfoss. Lige ved siden af hyttepladsen ligger der en golfbane og det tager kun et par minutter at gå ned til den sorte sandstrand. Det ligner på en prik en dansk sandstrand med kliter, bare i sort. Beliggenheden er god og man når hen til stortset alle de store seværdigheder i sydvesten på 1-dags ture. Selve byen er ikke stor, men der er både supermarked, restaurant og café som gør opholdet noget nemmere. Til elbilister: Der er ingen lademulighed direkte ved huset, men der er en 50kW lader (fra operatøren ON) i byen. Det virkede fint for os. Vi var yderst tilfreds med vores ophold og vil gerne komme igen en anden gang.

The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse.
