The Inn at Oriental was an excellent choice for us. It's within walking distance of almost everything we needed. It's well maintained and beautifully decorated. Kate and Dustin were terrific hosts and made our stay so enjoyable. The inn is perfectly located within walking distance of the best restaurants, the marina, a coffee shop, and even the brewery next door. Our room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The grounds were beautifully maintained and offered several inviting outdoor seating areas to relax and enjoy. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the coffee was always fresh. Quiet and charming. We truly had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Every detail of my stay reflected excellence and hospitality. The atmosphere was relaxing, the property was beautifully maintained, and it felt like a place where guests are genuinely valued rather than just accommodated. The location was perfect for both convenience and enjoying the surrounding area, and coming back in the evening felt peaceful and refreshing. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the quality of the food made the experience even better. What stood out most was the kindness of the owner. Her attentiveness, friendliness, and willingness to help in any way truly set this stay apart. It’s rare to find a place that combines beauty, comfort, great service, and genuine care so well. Great Stay at the Inn at Oriental

Centrally located and a great way to experience Oriental, NC. Short walk to three (3) marinas, a couple free city one-day-slips, good food, restful park, beautiful neighborhood. Great for a sailing cruise stop-over or crew change. :-)

We arrived and we're the only guests. Even Brodie wasn't there. They partner with a sub shop up the road and I felt we were really encouraged to go there for breakfast instead of the inn. The first room was up a lot of stairs. There was a lot of dirt on ceiling fan blades. Room was nice looking. The AC unit was not cooling well at all so we asked if we cod stay in lower level room. No problem. The lower level room you had to step up approx. 8 inches to get into the bathroom. It was very dangerous. The mattress was HORRIBLE! Like an inner spring mattress with no pillow top and a plastic pad under sheet that made noise when you moved. The TV was laptop size and it appeared movies were $19.99 on demand to watch. The inn had cute decorations and nice areas to hang out. None of the exterior doors are locked during the night. You only had a single lock on your door knob. After reading such high reviews when booking, we were very disappointed!
