Love being right across from the beach and being able to see all the wild bunnies in elk. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even gave my mother a bottle of wine for her birthday, which was greatly appreciated

We enjoyed our first time at this hotel. Nice location near the beach and stores. It’s affordable but on the smaller side, AC option would be great on a hot day. Swimming pool, hot tub and balcony was great add on amenities.

We liked that it was across the street from Tolovana State Park and beach access. We got excellent weather and a beautiful sunset. We also enjoyed the surrounding peacefulness and quietness of the location. We needed that rather than the business just a few miles to the north. We drove towards the downtown area of Cannon beach, about 2 miles, to eat out and noticed how quickly it felt crowded compared to where we were at Wayside Inn. There was also a nice store right across the street so we could have just eaten in our room if we wanted to. The whole area, both the busy and the quiet, seemed very polite and friendly. It was a great relaxing get away.

The room was very clean and staff were very accomodating and helpful and always friendly. The views from our second story balcony was perfect. You are able to see the ocean. The location is just a couple miles from downtown Cannon Beach.
