This is a nice former lodge and convention center right on the beach north of town. Great place for dog owners and families. The adjacent restaurant served mediocre dishes. We ate in town mostly at the fine cafes down in the historic district. Every room has an ocean view.

The thing that makes this property is the view, it is gorgeous and right on the beach. The property definitely needs painting due to the high volume of wind. I also

Great view and roomy room with full kitchen was a winner. The Surfside Bistro had excellent Chicken Marsala, but just so-so veggie pizza for the only meal we ate there. A convenient location, which was quiet and lots of parking, as well as an elevator that a number of other stays on the coast did not have was a winner for us with heavy luggage. ✅ The only disappointment was that there were no streaming opportunities on the Spectrum TV, so we could not watch anything on the TV from Netflix or Paramount+ 😔
