The updated room was beautiful and clean, however the platform beds were pretty uncomfortable and we had to keep adjusting the slates underneath for support. The property location is stunning with amazing views and overall very quiet, just a quick drive into town. Check-in was a little clunky and the continental breakfast was unpredictable. We showed up to a pretty messy construction site with big trucks blocking parking and the amenities like the hot tub being out of order. Though we received notice of the construction and hot tub prior to our arrival, we received notice AFTER booking. Neither the Expedia listing or the hotel website listed any inconveniences which was misleading. Regardless, the property and rooms overall were great and have amazing potential. Would stay again if the property was completed.

This was a solid room—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The view was great, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but did the job. The shower was excellent, though the bed was a bit softer than my personal preference. You really can’t beat the location.

We had stayed here twice before and had enjoyed our stay each time. The room was clean and the staff friendly. As always, the view of the river and ship activity is fantastic. They are doing some remodeling right now so there is no hot breakfast available for awhile. We will stay again this summer.

Astoria Crest Motel is older but well kept and has a fantastic view of the Columbia River. Staff is very friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and the bed was comfortable! Nice place to stay if you are tired of the chain hotels.
