Unsuspecting comfort

The outside was having work done, and I was unsure at first but the rooms were clean and I can tell that the hotel has made strides to update the rooms and make them comfortable. The from desk manager was great, the service staff were attentive and accessible, and I can tell they are working hard to get this hotel up from where it used to be.

Ok place. Check the water temp....

No hot water, took very cold showers. Old grout stuck to the tile in the bathroom and sink areas. Ceiling was obviously leaking by all of the brown streaks. At least the beds were comfortable and the rug was clean.

Staff was professional, courteous, and very helpful. The property could use some sprucing up. For example finish on sidewalks look messy. Curtains were hard to close completely to assure privacy.

Loved it.

Great location right off interstate 95, plenty of places to eat. The staff are very helpful and friendly, it was peaceful and quiet! The lady at the front desk went out of her way to help me, I didn’t get her name but I assume she works the evening shift as I checked in around 3 P.M. I was only going to stay one night but it was so comfortable I stayed two. Thank you too all the staff for being so nice.

Grungy and serious need of upgrade

Grungy, dirty, filthy. Looks like they may be remodeling some but our room was in desperate need of attention. Old curtains that barely were hanging. No door number. Paint peeling from inside and outside door. Light came through around door. Bathroom grout was ick. Bed was okay. Pool looked clean. Best thing was onsite bar with beautiful pool tables. This area was immaculate.

Review

Room #1 - was a little disappointing as it was not totally smoke free. Cigarette smoke could be smelled as soon as you entered. Once the bathroom exhaust fan & A/C fan came on the smoke was stronger. There were also items that were broken or hanging off the wall. Then came a group of people associating near the room, smoking. I then requested to be moved. Room # 2 was excellent no odors, very clean and comfortable. I was very pleased. Staff was professional and helpful.

Room was clean and comfortable. We arrived late (10:30 pm) and lobby was closed. Got the attention of an employee inside to gain entry. We’re told they thought we were not coming and had canceled the reservation. A room was provided none the less. Property appears to be under new ownership and renovations seem to be ongoing. Pool is closed (empty), and there are not a lot of rooms in operation.

For the price, it wasn't the best stay. The bar area was decent and staff was friendly. The room was clean, but the phone didn't work, the tub looked dirty but just older and stained. No ice machine and had to get ice from the front desk. It didn't look warm and welcoming. The pool wasn't working either so no dip in the pool. For an overnight stay, it was good enough. Cheaper than some of the other places in the area, but still over $100 a night for a weekend rate. Convenient to I95. Again, fine for a sleep over but not for an extended stay. Didn't stay for a breakfast, not sure they had one honestly.
