I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the Green Hill Hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the room absolutely spotless. I was in Onomichi for the Shimanami Kaido experience plus a day of sightseeing and I thought the hotel was perfectly located for both of those. It is also right in front of the train station, quite practical. The availability of the laundry in the hotel was really a plus. Will definitely return to the Onomichi area and at this hotel. I highly recommend.

We were only staying at the hotel overnight before beginning a long bike trip, but the staff that greeted us absolutely bent over backwards to make sure any question we had was answered, including physically leading us to where we needed to go to reserve our bikes, guiding us through the entire Luggage forwarding process and answering any questions with a smile on their lips and a song in their heart. Of all the hotels I’ve been to in Japan this is the most likely place that I would go back to. If I could give them and their wonderful staff six stars I would.

We really enjoyed the sea and port views. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located in Onomichi and within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again next time.
