Property is very dated. Room was ok for the most part. There were some smudges on the wall by the headboard that looked suspiciously like poo. There was also something crusted on the remote control. AC worked well. Bathroom was clean.

So disappointed the tub was so disgusting we could not use it. The bed covers and blankets had stains on them…and in other sections of the motel there were Section 8 people living there!

Very nice and accommodating service. Room cleaned and new towels provided daily. Tv worked fine. Frig worked. Air worked with little noise. No complaints. Much gratitude. Worked out great giving me, a father, a place to stay while my son played at Cooperstown Allstar Village 3 minutes away. I did not try their restaurant.

You get what you paid for. Bathroom it’s better than a room. Nice hot showers it’s a plus, very comfy beds. Just the carpet was dirty and the smell terrible. Other than that it’s a great location. Cheaper price around.

Excellent staff. Awesome hot water and pressure. Close to everything. Great rate. Cold a/c. Daily cleaning and making of beds. They even offered to wash our laundry for us. The place looks like is has been around for a while and a few areas in/around the hotel looks like it could use a little clean up or paint. Did not bother us. Everything was great, we even extended an extra night. We would definitely stay there again. Only 4 minutes to Cooperstown All Star fields.

Last minute availability coming into town for baseball tournament. Needed a super late check (1am)…they called me to let me know the process of leaving my key in a lock box for when I arrived. I appreciated the call and the simplicity of the instructions and process! What you would expect for the price. Simple room, hot shower, air was cold. Top blankets on beds were worn and could use refresh/replacement.

The clock in the room was not on and I could not figure out to turn it on. TV stated to press a source button to turn on, did not know that button suggest, put which button is source button on the wall with the WiFi codes.

Ugly duckling, but could be a swan

For the price, it wasn’t bad. Just not great. Peeling paint, dated decor, people living there, and a loud neighbor were minor issues. But the beds were clean, they serviced the rooms daily, the shower pressure was great, and if you’re there for baseball, there’s nothing closer to the Cooperstown All-Star Village. I had room 210. The water was hot and the AC worked. Nothing legitimate to complain about. If they’d spend a bit to fix it up, this place could be a great spot. Just some paint, really.

Horrible Experience

It was absolutely terrible. The heat didn’t work in the room and when we called to receive assistance they told us there was nothing they could do. We proceeded to not spend the night in our room and didn’t receive a refund. We won’t be staying there again.

I like the room . It did not smell but the rugs were stained, the bed covers were stained and i do not think the sheets where changed. The sheets look like they were used from other guests. Oh and there was no hot water so i could not shower. To the far end of the hotel there were people with bikes furniture outside more like a gheto seen hanging out. More like section 8 it does not look good for customers . 😕

Rod Serling presents Motel 88

This place is in the Twilight Zone. Maybe an old Howard Johnson’s? Attached to a defunct Chinese Buffet Restaurant/defunct martial arts studio. Weird all the way around. Room was “clean” but you can’t really clean a 60 year old room last rehabbed 40 years ago. Cracked tub, scratchy towels, TV only through Roku; like no access to live local TV. Price was “reasonable” because everything else is insanely over priced, but it’s actual rate should be about $50/night. Very sketchy people kinda living there. Would not willingly stay here alone again; would NEVER take my wife or daughter here. Avoid this hotel or negotiate a lower price.
