The stayed in a deluxe two bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable but was a like dated. The views are fantastic. It was quiet and perfect for a relaxing time away. It had aircon downstairs but none upstairs, this made it v hot up there, especially in the 2nd bedroom. We used the provided fans but they really need proper air con upstairs.

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful - quickly resolving a booking confusion caused by the booking site …. Next time we would book direct as they were so helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent both nights. The location and setting are superb … great views, “middle of nowhere” but still access to all mod-cons. Brilliant stay!

What a gem of a place to stay. I loved the commanding views of Lake Taupo, and the short steep walk down to the waters edge was a nice surprise and fun for the family. If you are looking for a secluded quiet place to stay with stunning views and birdsong this is it.
