“We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly.”

“We only stayed overnight as at a wedding at Hodsock Priory, this is an ideal hotel for the venue as only few minutes away. The rooms are lovely, very clean and modern, I particularly liked the mirrors in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, good choices available and just what we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We want to go back and try the evening meals another time. Definitely recommend the hotel though.”

“The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

“Things I didn’t like Headboard quite worn which was a bit off putting. Toilet didn’t flush properly but a small bucket was provided. Toiletries were a bit hot and miss (and mix) Clearly a lot of effort goes into the hotel and the staff are really good as was breakfast. There is a large car park right outside the hotel with an overflow which is great.”

“Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here.
