Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Das Frühstück war ordentlich. Es gab Filterkaffee in der Thermoskanne, frische Brötchen, Wurst und Käseplatte, Rührei und hartgekochte Eier sowie frisches Obst und Joghurt.

Das Hotel hat eigentlich Potential, aber es war niemand zum Empfang da und das Restaurant war trotz eines Samstagabends geschlossen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um halb zehn komplett abgegrast und wurde mangels Personal nicht nachgelegt. Die einzige Kraft vor Ort war bemüht, aber überlastet. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und sauber, aber insgesamt wiegt das die Nachteile nicht auf.

Schöner Krug in Oldenburg

Schönes 3+ Hotelzimmer sauber und komfortable eingerichtet. Badezimmer ausreichend groß und auch sehr sauber. Hotelservice im Restaurant sehr freundlich. Küche gut bürgerlich und echt lecker.

Very good breakfast.....

The hotel was ok, with a very good breakfast. However, when we arrived the hotel was shut and we had to ring a number to get access to a key for the hotel door and our room. Not very welcoming.......

Etzhorner Krug review.

We enjoyed our stay although we hadn't realised that hotel is several kilometres from city centre. However good bus service right outside hotel. Our only complaint would be unfriendly staff, maybe they don't speak English, but could have smiled a bit more. Nothing else around except cafe bakery.

Alles Gut. Nur Expedia nicht.

Ich habe schon öfters im Etzhorner Krug übernachtet weil wir vom DRK dort öfters Veranstaltungen haben bzw. unsere Referenten dort übernachten lassen. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt war ich mit dem Frühstück nicht ganz einverstanden. Ich war um ca. 8 Uhr dort und es gab z.B. kein Rührei mehr und die Auslagen wäre schon etwas spärlich. Dieses mal aber eine dicken Daumen nach oben. Bei Expedia allerdings werde ich nicht mehr buchen. Ich wollte den Preis 67 € haben und habe auch alle Daten eingegeben. Bekam eine Bestätigung über 69€. Auf meine Rückfrage, die innerhalb von 48 h beantwortet werden sollte habe ich bis heute noch nichts. Im Hotel sollte ich dann die Rechnung bezahlen. Expedia hatte auch nur ohne Frühstück gebucht. Ich bin einmal gespannt, ob diese Bewertung auch so im Internet erscheint??????????

Incommunicado

I am traveling with an android tablet, not a laptop, as it weighs less. The hotel has no computer available to guests, and no one there could get my tablet to work, so for 2 days I was incommunicado to my husband in the U.S. Also, the hotel is sufficiently far from town as to necessitate a bus or taxi ride into town if one is on foot, as I was. Otherwise, pleasant.

Nettes Hotel in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend und hat eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Türe, von wo aus man problemlos in die Innenstadt von Oldenburg kommt. Daher habe ich es mir gespart, ein Parkhaus zu suchen. Die Verbindungen haben super funktioniert. Einziges Manko des Zimmers: jemand hat am Fernseher offenbar die Weckfunktion aktiviert und so laberte das Teil dann kurz nach 7 Uhr morgens los. Wenig schön - aber ich habe dann "kurzen Prozess" gemacht und den Stecker gezogen. Blaues Licht aus, Fernseher ganz ganz sicher aus. Geweckt hat mich am nächsten Morgen der Regen auf den Dachfenstern, aber das ist dann halt so. Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, die Wurst ziemlich lieblos im Stapel auf den Servierplatten, die Auswahl auch eher begrenzt.

Man kann dort schlafen

Bei der Ankunft wurde ich sehr freundlich empfangen und die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Wlan Empfang ist einfach aber sehr schwankend. Je länger ich ihn benutzt habe, um so geringer ist seine Leistung gewesen. Das Frühstück ist einfallslos. Die Wurst übereinander gestapelt, als wenn Sie aus der Verpackung kommt und beim Käse wellen sich schon die ersten Scheiben, weil sie schon so ausgetrocknet sind. Zum Frühstück, bringt das Personal noch nicht einmal ein "Guten Morgen" zustande und ist meist ganz verschwunden. Positiv am Frühstück fand ich den frischen Obstsalat.
