The Lamplighter is the place I always stay at when I am in this section of Connecticut. It has Clean Rooms, Comfortable Beds, Good Working Air-conditioning, plenty of Hot Water for the Shower, a Low Price, Friendly Staff, Microwaves and Refrigerators, close to the Highway, walking distance to a Great Restaurant ( the Log Cabin). I'm already looking forward to my Return.

When I stay in this part of CT, I always stay at the Lamplighter. Every time I am there, Clean Room,Comfortable Bed. Good Air Conditioning, Everything Works, close to the highway, reasonable price, good restaurants within a quick walking distance, plus a fridge and microwave. I'll be back again in a few weeks.

As always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter.

Very Clean and Quiet 👍

It was only for 2 night stay Very clean ,Great air conditioner, mini fridge near restaurant,stores,gas station and more. The area was very quiet and nice. The owner was very kind. I gave it a 4 stars because there was no room service no coffee maker or microwave. but other than that I will totally recommend it.

Lamplighter Motel is a nice stay. It has the basics required and they let you know at check in that they won't be cleaning your room during your stay. This was fine for us. Very clean, comfortable beds, basic bathroom and our room even had a small refrigerator. Room also has cable tv and the shower was great. The check in was easy and the lady at the desk was very nice. The price was great so if you're looking for high end or extra amenities stay somewhere else and pay for that. This was perfect for our two night stay and we would stay again. Very happy with our stay at Lamplighter.

The room was adequate, clean and newly painted. But no amenities or decor. Rather stark. The carpeted floor was uneven. The plumbing sink and commode were ancient. The commode was very low. Not easy for seniors. AC/Heat was efficient but a bit noisy, as the bed was only a couple of feet away from the unit. Great for anyone looking for an economical motel in the area. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Easy check in, and the lady at the desk was so very nice. We had the same room as last year. The air conditioner works very well, and plenty of hot water in the shower. Room was very clean, but still no curtain in the bathroom window, as was last year, also. Next year, I'm definitely bringing one,lol.

I enjoyed staying here. It's a small, simple place. It's very quiet. We arrived late because we decided last minute to stay overnight. I used the phone outside of the door to alert the clerk that I was there to check in. The owners live onsite. I believe I woke her up. I felt bad. She could not have been nicer. It was a great experience. I would not only recommend it, I will be staying there again.
