Vacations Close To Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Historic Site and Botanical Garden

The room had a think layer of dust, as if it were cleaned last month and not touched again. The sink was pulled away from the wall, making it impossible to set anything there. Room was not cleaned after the first night. After the second night, someone barged into our room at 7am. When they saw it was occupied, they left. I got a call, while in a meeting, that we had to change rooms because of maintenance needs. I told them not to bother, I’d simply find a new place to stay. When I asked the desk about someone barging into my room (with a key card) they said is was probably the construction crew. They offered no apologies. Nothing. The staff acted like I was an inconvenience for staying there. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.

It was great

Good location, friendly staff

This location is in a safe, clean area. The property is well maintained and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have stayed here for multiple, long-term business stays where I have enjoyed the ability to utilize a full kitchen to cook meals, providing more of that “at home” feel. Very nice location and property with many amenities. Would recommend for long-term travelers.
