Vacations Close To Old Belize

The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize.

If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.

Our stay here was for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Very peaceful, relaxing and accommodating. The staff was great. Justin and Ervin were great in the kitchen and bar service. The food was excellent and they were able to meet my wife's gluten free diet with every meal. Manager Barry is great and has stories for days. It really felt like a family more than a staff!!

There were zero towels or floor mat in the bathroom, however, staff brought towels fairly quickly (still no mat, so I used on of the towels). And it was convenient to have the bar downstairs, and the drinks were good, but I'm sure the bartender thought I didn't know how to properly add the Belizean change back from my US $20 - nor did she notice that I saw her squeeze my other $5 bill in her fist. But it was slow season and there was the waitress too, so hopefully she shared.

The staff and the property were amazing! We will be back again! Best vacation ever!

Undoubtably the most relaxing and peaceful vacations i have ever had. We spent a week there and from the minute we pulled up the staff made themselves available to us. Never overbearing just knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We left feeling like we were leaving friends. Absolutely loved everything about Playa De Sala!
