“The owner was really friendly and welcoming. I travel a lot and this was one of the best places I've been as far as staff and attitude goes. The room was perfect with everything you need in the kitchenette. Warm room and electric blanket. All very clean and with a lovely NZ wilderness mural on the wall. The shower pressure was AMAZING! The gardens were beautiful. I will certainly be back. ”

“Pasamos una noche en este motel. Queriamos dormir cerca del aeropuerto porque nuestro vuelo era muy pronto de madrugada. Ciertamente esta muy cerca del aeropuerto, a unos 5 o 6 minutos en coche, lo que fue muy ventajoso. La persona que nos atendio en recepcion muy bien. La habitacion correcta, pequeña pero funcional. Limpieza bien, no vimos nada sucio. La cama demasiado blanda, pero es algo general en toda NZ. El baño era un poco anticuado pero correcto. Parquing gratuito. Buen precio. Realmente...

“We loved staying here. Units were clean tidy and comfortable, water pressure was out the gate. Its pet friendly which was a big draw card for us. The only thing we didn't like was parking. The driveway was extremely narrow and parking at times could be congested and challenging. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and we would be happy to reccomend The Northcote Motor Lodge to all travellers. We will be back💕🐾 ”

“The staff was superb. Our luggage did not arrive from Auckland and Air New Zealand had it sent to the hotel. The front desk had it waiting in our room for just us. The actual room was beyond what we expected, coming from the US and not knowing the hotel location, it exceeded what we thought. Two beautiful rooms that were well-appointed with a porch with chairs Snd outdoor tabke awaiting our last evening‘s coffee.”

“We enjoyed our stay, we had a unit with two double beds, the beds were really comfortable. The unit had everything we needed. The Host was really lovely, Scorched Almonds for Valentines day :) There is a bit of traffic noise but nothing horrendous. If we need accommodation again close to Kaiapoi, this will be our choice. ”
