This hotel was a very nice surprise, and all positive reviews are true. Very clean, updated, good size rooms with balcony and kitchenette, AC, about 25 min walk to American and a very reasonably priced.

Great stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with a smile. We requested to have the breakfast early a few days as we were going diving and they made sure to let the staff member who would be seeing us know of our request. The hotels is super close to some really good restaurants and the promenade along the ocean.

Our stay at the Moana was awesome! The property is well maintained, the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were what we needed for our stay. The staff was what made the difference, however. They were so professional and accommodating and genuinely nice. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It was American-ized with American outlets so no need for adapters. The water, view, access, and staff were all amazing! The room had its own washer and dryer and food delivery was super easy. This is an amazing option to stay in Okinawa. The bases were super close also, there were restaurants/bars within walking distance as well. Highly recommend.

Loved the hotel. It was cheap, comfortable, was in a great location, and had private parking. I didn’t like that I booked a room for 2 Adults and a 2 yr old, and when I checked in they told me if I wanted to use the pull out bed under the bed I had to pay and extra 3,000¥ a night.

The Moana is a lovely place to stay! The staff was friendly, attentive and provided professional service throughout. I spent, l believe, 8 to 9 days. The room was extremely clean, very comfortable, with fabulous linen and pillows, a balcony with table and chairs. Small kitchen area with sink, micro, dishes. Plus a washing machine and dryer. TV had capabilities to connect with personal accounts such as Netflix… I highly recommend this boutique hotel! You won’t go wrong!!

The Moana was a super cute hotel and I was especially excited to see the washer and dryer so we didn’t have to travel back with dirty clothes. The only downside was that I picked a room with a photo of a trundle bed but when I arrived I had to pay extra to get it. I may have missed that while booking. Otherwise the place was amazing and I’d recommend it for any family with 3 or less people. Close walkable dining for any meal, a couple local bars and American Village if you’re feeling up for a nice stroll.

We had a great week long stay at the Moana. The room had everything we needed. A kitchen was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave as well as some plates, flatware and a few glasses. A washer and dryer were also included. We enjoyed the free croissants, coffee and juice that we got every morning for breakfast. Great location near the Okinawa sea wall, where lots of restaurants resided. Special kudos to Raut at the front desk. He was very polite and answered all of our questions with a smile. It was very assuring to know that we could count on him for any help we needed.
