The hotel was beautiful with stunning views. We unfortunately had rain the entire time we stayed, but the hotel was amazing and I would definitely stay here again when I return to Okinawa.

It was an incredible stay, start to finish. Beach was amazing, it was walkable to other restaurants. We didn't rent a car, but ubers / cabs were super easy. We reached out for a same day booking after being unhappy with another hotel. You guys booked us the corner unit on the 9th floor, one of the most beautiful views we have ever had. This was our honeymoon, and you guys literally saved our trip! Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Decent hotel, however there is no room service and their restaurants close at 9;00pm. There is no bar on site. A car is necessary as there is nothing around the hotel. The beach area is small.

The property was a very grand resort. Our room had a beautiful view and there was a large pool and beach area to walk around. Many shops and places to eat on the resort as well. It’s a little difficult to get to since it’s set next to the ocean so you do need a car to get here as I’m not sure about shuttle services. Staff was friendly and kind. Beautiful stay overall!

My family loved the pool as it has a kid-friendly area and it looks very well maintained. We loved the delicious breakfast buffet and staff were great!! I personally loved the old-rustic-spanish style kind of vibes of the hotel. The only thing I can think of in the room that we stayed at was a black out curtain. Overall this place is amazing and would definitely go back again!!

Beautiful property with amazing pool. Beaches are very nice. Only negative is location is far from dining restaurants and transportation. Poolside has no bar to buy food or drinks. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Outside of that it’s very beautiful location.

It’s a great hotel with a private beach. Quite an old school style beach hotel with big swimming pool suitable for relaxing. Air condition system in the room with funny smell sometimes , it may need to be improved. Nearby doesn’t have too many restaurants if not driving , however Uber/taxi is fine, no Uber eat delivery in that area is a pity, however we do enjoy our nine nights stay. Hotel staffs are all quite polite and helpful. I like the beach with great sand very much. We will definitely think about coming back on next vacation.

Beautiful hotel on the beach—Will definitely return here! Staff was very helpful and everyone friendly. Recommend a corner room overlooking the pool from one window and the East China Sea on the other. Fabulous views! Room is restocked daily with bottles water and iced tea, Orion beer, and bottles of liquor. Brought us fresh fruit plates twice during our 5 night stay. They dust, vacuum, and change bed linen daily. Excellent food! Great deal to book the room with breakfast buffet included—more food than you can ever eat. They have an inexpensive option of To-Go bento boxes to eat in your room if you don't want to have a sit down dinner or another buffet meal. Reasonable charge to book a taxi driver for the day through the bell stand that will take you anywhere you want to go and then bring you back to the hotel—saved a lot of money doing it that way compared to one way taxi rides. You wont be disappointed staying here!

I thought the interior of the lobby and the main portion of the hotel was in pretty good shape. However, any of the carpets in the halls on the main floor on the halls on the guest room floors and in the guest rooms was really dirty and needs to be replaced. I also thought the guestrooms were a little outdated. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls. I think they would’ve been better off to stucco the walls like they did the main level of the lobby floor. Restaurants were great for breakfast and we were able to eat at all three of the restaurants. I thought the shopping areas were all very nice as well. The pool deck really needs to be power washed and seemed kind of dingy as well as all the walking areas outside. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the views were to die for. All staff was absolutely wonderful. All in all I’m not sure I would stay again, but I would consider it.

I thought the hotel is very nice. It has a nice size clean beach, but not one was swimming in it. I also didn’t get to swim myself. People did use the beach for pictures and walking around. It’s long enough for the property, but does not extend beyond that. The hotel does not have a fitness room. The indoor pool requires extra fee. The street has no sidewalk to walk around. There is no bus. Going places requires Taxi rides. My booking includes free taxi transportation from and to the airport which can cost 6,000 to 10,000 yen each way if not included. Breakfast buffet at Hana Hana was excellent. I didn’t eat everything there, but I enjoyed what I ate. The atmosphere was good. It’s a nice relaxing hotel with very little to do. If your goal is to relax and bask in the views and enjoy what the resort has to offer in an environment with few people, it might be a great resort for you. I think the beach and the pool were under utilized when I was there. I would like to see entertainments at night like cultural performances as what they do in Mexico and Hawaii. Also, there are no tours that pick up at the hotel. Besides the breakfast buffet included in my booking, the food was expensive at all the restaurants even with the high dollar exchange rate. 海が近く景色がとても最高です。ホテル中の香りが良く癒されます。屋外、屋内プールが充実してる。小さいコンビニ1つと服、水着、サンダルなど雑貨、お土産販売店が2つあります。ご飯も和洋中あって味も間違えなかったです。

滞在中３日間雨が続いて残念でした。ただ、ビーチへのアクセスがとても便利で、束の間のやんだ瞬間にすぐビーチに向かうことができて良かったです。タオルも用意してくださっていたので快適に過ごせました。 なによりスタッフの方々の応対がとても気持ちよかったです。 少し残念に感じたのは、施設が古い分館内の清掃はとても行き届いていたのですが、ベランダや、外壁に黒いカビが目立ち不衛生に感じてしまったのが残念でした。

This was our honeymoon trip, and it simply would not have been as perfect as it was, had we not stayed at this hotel! If you don’t stay at Hotel Nikko Alivila you are truly missing out. This hotel and all of their employees are truly magical. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, every inch of the property. Every staff member met us with kindness, respect, and was always willing to help. They were so accommodating, whether we were speaking English or our little bit of Japanese. The pool and the beaches are outstanding. The breakfast buffet is 100% worth the price. You have three different restaurants you can choose from every morning. The food was always delicious, no matter the time of day. You can have the hotel send you a taxi at the airport to get you to the hotel and then rent a car through the hotel, they make it so simple for anyone traveling! We hope to make it back to this hidden gem one day! Thank you Hotel Nikko Alivila!!!
