The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable. It offered breakfast, which was good. I especially appreciated the laundry area in the 4th floor. For just 300 yen you wash clothes and for 100 yen per 30 minutes for drying. I used it a few times. The staff were very polite and helpful. I stayed with my family in the 2nd floor with a beautiful view. The hotel was close to the train station. I mean, it was all perfect! If I ever return to Okayama, I would definitely stay there.

The facilities are … OLD. The lobby looked okay, but the rooms reminded me of the 80s. There were small bugs in the room, and I had to go through the bed to make sure it wasn’t bedbugs. The room was cheap and you get free beer and breakfast. Which was satisfactory. But buy yourself a piece of mind and upgrade to something better if you have the means.

The hotel is located in a quiet area approx 15-20 mins walk from Okayama station & within walking distance to other major shops such as Aeon Mall, Takashimaya, Don Quijote & Ichiban gai. The staff are very friendly & helpful especially the cleaning staff.

Property is in dire need of renovation or at least deep cleaning. The carpets in the hallways are terrible and the walls dirty. The location is great and the staff are very professional. The additional amenities are great. Clean the carpets and walls and you will have a good value hotel.

Stayed two nights to see / experience Okayama. My room looked quite tired and sad--stained carpeting, walls covered with numerous scuffs and scratches, decor from 1988. One small, lonely pillow on the bed. Why not offer two pillows? After I keyed in, I wondered, "Am I in Japan?" On further inspection, the phone on the desk and the light fixture in the bathroom looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months. Visible mold in the shower. I live in here in Japan, and I have stayed in numerous hotels all over the country; regarding cleanliness, this hotel was perhaps the worst. If you are coming from overseas to experience the wonders of Japan, do not stay here. In my case, I was simply too exhausted after a long day of traveling, so I didn't complain. I should have. Other than the friendly staff, a cold AC in the room, and the clean sheets on the bed, there is nothing redeeming about this hotel. The manager should be ashamed.
