Spent one night here and was upgraded to a larger room it was quiet as it was the end of winter. Very well maintained quiet and clean would have enjoyed the outdoor area if it had been summer. Would definitely stay again particularly in summer as it’s located right across from the beach.

Very well presented, clean room. Location was top notch, nice and quiet, only the beautiful sound of the ocean. The only issue I had was the nearly $12 surcharge. My husband and I stay in hotels on average 4 times per year, in different locations including Auckland, Tauranga and even Queenstown in June and never paid anywhere near this amount and wonder what we are actually paying for. I thought it may be a charge for the eftpos machine as I used GPay and asked if it would make a difference if I insert my bank card to which I was told, no it wouldn't make a difference.
