We absolutely loved staying at the Powderhorn Cottage! Loved the fireplace, and access to the hot pools. So lovely coming "home" after a long day of skiing.

We loved our stay at the chateau it was a real experience & we absolutely loved our accommodation, it’s full of charm & character and has everything you need. Really comfortable after a long day of skiing. Food was great and staff were warm and friendly. Was lovely to have a swim in the hot pool each evening. Highly recommend staying here in any season. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing stay here. Log cabin feels in a beautiful location. Staff were great and very helpful. Food was good too and loved the fact that we didn't have to leave the building to enjoy food, drinks & dancing. Rooms are not very sound-proof though - we were on the 2 floor and could hear the toilet flushing from another room and the creaking floors - just an FYI if noise is an issue. Won't stop us from staying there again.

We were just passing through but wished we stayed longer. Rooms were fantastic, had a Queen suite with an en-suite and it was stunning - cannot recommend a stay here enough. I can imagine in ski season this is the perfect spot to begin and end your day, especially with a lovely pub, restaurant and warmed pool!

One of the my favorite hotels on month-long trip to New Zealand. After hiking 6-hour Tongariro, the expansive hot tub-pool at Powderhorn was just what the doc ordered. Laundry room on the floor a plus -- and hotel dining facilities (for dinner and breakfast) were very good.
