The Morning Glory Inn is an oasis located in a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of York, ME. The home is spacious with excellent common areas large enough to accommodate groups and families. The staff is very helpful and our room was beautiful and spacious. The decor is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Within walking distance is a lobster pound and a beautiful lake perfect for kayaking. We plan on returning to spend more time here.

Quiet and comfortable, this inn is tucked into the south side of York. Walkable to a small beach and cliff walk, or we had no issues driving to other parts of York (typically 2 hour parking sections). Excellent and well-organized hospitality. Very friendly, delicious breakfast, and relatively private spaces to hang out. We will certainly return.

The best of our four-day swing through NH and ME!

We stayed at Morning Glory Inn the night of July 5. Absolutely beautiful lodging in a nice, private setting! Doug, Margie and even Kipper did their all to make us feel welcome. We were lodged in the old, historic part of the building. The whole place was beautifully decorated throughout, and the breakfast the next morning was outstanding.

It was a beautiful historic house. We loved the gardens, and Margie was very welcoming. Coffee and breakfast were great. Coffee was out exactly at 7a! A nice start to our busy Ssunday.

Wonderful bed and breakfast! Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area, but close enough to enjoy the restaurants and shops at the beach. Great hosts and comfortable accommodations!

Relaxing days!

We have stayed at the Morning Glory once a year for 4 years and always loved it there. The B&B is beautiful and Margie and Dough are wonderful hosts. Breakfast is always delicious outside in the beautiful garden. All in all, we will be back next year.

This was a first-rate Inn and my husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room was private and clean and everything was on ground level. The innkeepers were charming, accommodating and friendly. I stay at Morning Glory Inn for my fiancee birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The owners (Dough and Margie) are very hospitable. They serve home made breakfast every morning and the food is delicious. The B&B is very clean, room is spacious, private library for readings, and short distance driving to Ogunquit, ME and Portsmouth, NH. Great place for a quiet vacation. I will definitely go back there and recommend it to others. I'd stayed in many B&B before and I can tell you this is different.

Quiet Get Away

This was such a charming little noo just outside of Ogunquit. Perfect hosts and accommodations and can't wait until the next time I stay. Also, the breakfast was incredible! Don't miss a single day!
