We were very impressed with this budget hotel. Definitely value for money. New, clean with a nice continental breakfast. Staff very helpful. First time we have had a code to enter the room rather than a key. Advised to photograph the code as it’s about 10 digits. Bill paid upfront, so no checkout required as the room access code stops working at 11am automatically

Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station. Room was clean and comfortable. I didn't like that the smoking area is right at the front entrance. A couple of times, I had to wiggle my way into the lobby through all the smokers. My room was just above the entrance, so I could not open the windows, otherwise all the smoke would get in. Other than that, its an affordable/conveniente/clean place to stay.

I had booked a stay for my family on 20th and 21st August, but I informed the hotel that I had mistakenly selected the wrong dates and actually needed 19th and 20th August. I clearly stated that I was willing to pay any tariff difference or additional charges required for the correction. I also explained that I am a tourist visiting only for one day and would not be able to stay on the originally booked dates. Despite having room availability, my request was categorically declined, and as a result, I lost $$without even staying at the property. This experience was extremely disappointing and concerning.

I chose the one near the Bahnhof for convenience, but there were quite a few drug addicts down that way. There was no easy transportation if it was raining or late at night. We tried to get an Uber but they wouldn’t come, tried twice. Ended up walking in the rain, then we saw them all at the train station picking up people. The hotel staff were ok, but not overly helpful. The room was clean but small. We wouldn’t stay there again, we would stay more in the old town area. Buses don’t go by there, plus there is no other place to eat breakfast but at the hotel.
