Gertruds Petit Hotel in Odense is a gem

Thomas, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and helpful, even taking the time to recommend local spots. The room was tidy and the bed super comfortable. Located within walking distance from the Central Station, Gertruds Petit Hotel offers convenience without sacrificing the tranquility of its surroundings. The area is charming and quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Charming and comfortable lodging for anyone who doesn’t mind sharing a bathroom and isn’t expecting a spacious room and typical hotel amenities. There’s no in-room fridge or microwave, but there’s a kitchenette available to all. I would happily stay here again. Very helpful host.

An ordinary trip became EXTRAordinary!!!

Great communication. Easy self-check in and out. Very friendly and helpful host with great knowledge of the city and good places to visit. Thomas helped make what could have been just an ordinary visit to Odense extraordinary!!!

Vi sov på øverste værelse og det var et dejligt rumligt værelse. Ud fra de parametre der hedder, pris, beliggenhed og renlighed, så ville jeg give stedet 5 stjerner. This is no hotel, but more a hostel. One bathroom for three double rooms means you have to wait in the morning to get your slot for the morning toilet. The mattresses were much too soft for us. The central location of the accommodation was good.

Fint værelse med det nødvendige

Fint værelse med god seng, god belysning og skrivebord. Badeværelse/toilet og køkken på gangen. God rengøring. Adgang til gratis kaffe/te og shampoo/balsam/showergel. Meget venlig og opmærksom vært, der tjekkede op på hvordan det gik på sms. Et TV på værelset ville have været rart. Jeg er meget tilfreds med mit ophold.

Private værelser ikke hotel

Der var det der skulle være - et værelse - med bløde senge. Udenfor værelset var et rum med køleskab og mikroovn og en dør til det næste værelse som også var optaget gennem næste dør var vi ude på trappen hvor en dør førte ind til baderummet- toilet håndvask og badekar med bruser i. De to sidstnævnte rum var desværre delte med det andet værelse, så det var svært at benytte.

Place was really clean. There was a small kitchen equipped with frdige. Non availability of hot water sometimes in the toilet and confusions with the lock system at the front door were the only issues I faced.

Okay, men meget lydt

Fint og hyggeligt lille "hotel", det er et lille hus i byen med nogle værelser. Værelset var hyggeligt, men vi havde værelse lige op af det fælles badeværelse (hvilket vi ikke havde set på forhånd), så vi kunne høre hver gang folk gik på toilettet. Vi vågnede flere gange, både om natten og om morgenen, når folk stod op. Dørene er gamle, så det larmer en del. Derudover virkede lamperne i loftet ikke, så vi måtte nøjes med en lille bordlampe. Ud fra vores værelesvindue var der blevet smidt et par underbukser på taget, det var ikke så charmerende at kigge ud på. Vi var der kun en nat og det var fint til kun lige at sove, men ikke mere end det.
