Decent Stay

Good location, quiet ..I wasn't sure what to expect based on recent reviews,.. Our room had toilet paper, it was cleaned, and there wasn't visible trash.. All the hotels in Ocean Shores are older, so I was pleasantly surprised. This place is nice and if you have kids, there is a lot for them to do..

Stay was okay! Good breakfast. Property, interior and exterior in need of maintenance. Staff could be friendlier, however this morning when we checked out there was a very friendly older lady, originally from Sedro Woolley. You need more like her.

Lobby is nice. Paint is peeling on walls, caperts look dirty, bathroom small even for me (I am 4 feet 11 inches and 195 pounds) sliding glass door was hard to open, breakfast smelled bad and was disorganized, guest laundry dryers were out of service. Service was nice. Location good. My spouse and I will probably not stay here again.

Dirty and not secure

It’s very dirty, lots of trash in doorways. The door to the outside on the side didn’t actually lock. Our balcony door barely opened. There was someone’s bra hanging in the closet of our room when we got there. Breakfast is nice and view was pretty.

I had asked for a handicap room and they had no record about it. I had to pay extra for my husband's safety. The room we did get had an ocean view but don't expect it to be close. You can still hear the ocean and the sun set was beautiful. The room was not a roll in shower. It's a tub with most of hand bars. The room was spacious for his walker whi6was a plus. The hotel was clean.

I dont reccommend this hotel

Liked the room and it was large and comfortable. Heater didnt work and no maintenance person available during normal business hours. No toilet paper at all. Room didnt look like it had been cleaned. Front desk clerk was the only person on duty. Breakfast was 7 out of 10 thankfully. Across the board it was a little below average.

Every picture in the listening is misleading and false advertising. The pool was so disgusting and you couldn’t even see the bottom. We would not let our kids go in it. Multiple doors to the outside looked like they had been kicked in. There are holes in the wall. The door to the room connected to ours was unlocked, so we could just walk right in to someone else’s room. Thankfully no one was in that room. I will say the staff was extremely nice and helpful! They were willing to help and even found us a new room when our first room was really loud.

It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great! The room was “clean” but needed a lot of repairs and work. The TV barely worked and the outside was a bit trashy and dirty. There was a glass filled with some sort of liquid sitting on a curb right by the front door for the 3 days that we stayed there and the trash cans were constantly overflowing like nobody ever changed them. BUT the staff was super friendly and great! It was quiet and I didn’t have breakfast but my boyfriend did and he said it was good. So all in all it wasn’t horrible, but not worth the price I paid.

Showerhead was hard to turn, bathtub has a crack in it. sink faucet was hard to turn on. There was no ice bucket in the room so I went to ask for one she looked in the storage room but said she could not find one she said she would look on the 2nd and 3rd floor storage, but I never heard from her. Screen door did not fit properly, sliding glass was heavy and did not lock. View from the balcony was fantastic. The only thing about breakfast I didn't like was the powdered eggs.

Been coming here for years and I've always been happy. This time my room was a dump. 1. Hole in ceiling 2. Tv never worked and front desk did not help. Said they couldn't leave the desk 3. coffee pot missing component to place coffee in, 4. Microwave's turntable didn't fit 5. Smoke detector always went off when taking a shower even with door closed and fan running. I'll never come back!!! Poor management is obvious. The people working here did their best, but management is obviiusly MIA.

This was our second year return to this location. Looks like they did some repairs to the cute golf course, which is great and overall, the staff was great. However, we had an issue in the swimming pool area. It was over crowded and other guests were not parenting their children who were splashing my autistic child (and myself) in the face, repeatedly after being asked to stop. They were diving and cannon balling into the pool. They had inflatable donuts and a couple of beach balls that they were hitting back and forth. As per usual for any pool, it is very loud and echoes. These same children were constantly testing out their vocals with who could scream the loudest. Never mind the painful echoing of the ball being hit back and forth. (My husband is deaf in one ear/other ear is overly sensitive). After asking management what they pool rules were, we were told there weren't any. Other places we've stayed have rules posted in the pool area that often restrict the use of beach balls and inflatable donuts due to safety precautions and respect toward other guests. We will NOT be returning to this location again.

I liked the jacuzzi tub, the complimentary breakfast and excellent location close to the Ocean. The property needs improvements, especially the rooms need to be detailed. The phone did not work, and the curtain did not have the hardware to open. Not enough towels for 2 people, especially for two nights and I do not like to have to ask.

The location is great and the lobby and staff were welcoming. The rooms were standard, though a little run down. There were garbage bags of ‘stuff’ stacked outside the walkway by our exterior window. Not sure what was in them-maybe items from renovations? Exterior doors were propped open and not secured at night.
