Room was spacious and very clean. Grounds were clean. We were initially concerned about it being pet friendly - everything was spotlessly clean, and it was quiet too. Good sized refrigerator too. Fully stocked kitchenette. Staff very friendly and helpful. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were not good. We were happy with our stay at the Barefoot Mailman and would stay again.

We were able to bring our little dogs. Needed a king bed which they had for us. Our grandkids live close to BM and were allowed to use the pool with us. Staff is probably the friendliest group that I ever had during our a stay in OC. Look to return next year!!

The entire stay was wonderful. The manager, Terry, was amazing, He went out of his way to show my son how to test the pool chemicals (my son is 5 and can ask a LOT of questions, but Terry was patient and able to keep his attention, which is no small feat). Terry also helped us with parking (which was was so easy and ample that I’m embarrassed to admit this), and made change for us to take the bus that only accepts cash. The rooms were huge and immaculate, and the location was great being so close to a narrow beach (no walking 3 football fields to reach the water)! Next time I plan to order from Shotti’s across the street for all my meals… also highly recommend. Overall stay was great and I can’t wait to come again, thank you!

Great beach motel

As far as beach motels are concerned, this one was pretty nice. Clean, spacious, and with friendly staff. Also, ample parking. Well worth a repeat visit especially for the price!
