Excellent location, very clean overall. Unfortunately we did not get our room until 5:30 pm, but the front desk was very apologetic. Would definitely go back because of the location
The staff is awesome the room was clean and perfect beach front views and no problems with parking, we had our french bull dog with us and he was treated like a king. I would recommend staying at paradise plaza.
The WiFi was bad, the shower should have had hand bars to help you get in and out of the shower. The rooms were great, two queens size beds, great terrace where you could sit outside and enjoy the view. Yes I would go again to this hotel.
View was beautiful from 8th floor. Could see Ocean and Bay. Room was clean and had plenty of storage. Air Conditioning was a bit loud when it came on but worked well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay again.
Great stay, loved the balcony! Only complaint, it didn’t have a shower curtain when I arrived but when I called housekeeping, they were quick to come with one. Will definitely return.
The oceanfront rooms are awesome. Excellent location and view. The con is that I unexpectedly had to pay for parking even though there were no spots available at the actual location. Also, the pool is on the parking lot. If you want a nice pool, this isn’t the hotel for you. BIT, if you want an oceanfront balcony on the boardwalk, this one is nice
Great price for the location compared to nearby competitors. Great location right on the boardwalk and beach. Room was clean and smells good. This was our 2nd time staying here, would highly recommend!

Perfect location! Very clean! Beds were very comfortable too! The pool was small, shallow and dirty. No one was swimming in it so not sure if it was officially open.

Staff was very nice and helpful , the room and most of the hotel was outdated , I mentioned to the front desk that the A/C in the room wasn't working 4 times before they put a mobile unit in the room , the phone didn't work so I had to go to the desk to talk to someone. The location was great , we might try it again if it gets some upgrades.
Great beach views and easy parking. This hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It was okay, typical old oc hotel. Sliding door to the balcony was broken and we had a REALLY tough time opening and closing it. The bathroom smelled like mildew, toilet was super low and tub didn’t drain well. Nice mini fridge with freezer in the room and fairly spacious. Our balcony had a view of the Bay, City and Ocean which was awesome. Plenty of chairs on the balcony as well including a lounger. Since we basically only used the room to sleep, it wasn’t a terrible experience, Probably wouldn’t choose it again with so many other options.
Outdated and shabby. Pull out bed is very uncomfortable but the main beds were ok. It’s right in the prime location of boardwalk. Right on beach. Nice staff. Not bad for a place to stay but not for long term or multiple days.

Room was pretty clean except for sand still on the floor. Air conditioner had some issues and wasn’t cooling like it should have. Bathroom doorknob was loose and wasn’t working properly. Great location and stayed there before and didn’t have these issues like we did this time !

Disliked: Amenities
Hotel a little dated. Sliding door to balcony didn’t even lock and there was a gap with wing blowing in (hard). Restaurant bar was closed. Checked coffee in the lobby a few seperate times and it wasn’t stocked or was cold. Staff was astounding helpful pleasant
The room was clean and the staff was great. It could use a bit of maintenance/updating but overall it was very good. We booked the standard room with queen beds/city view. The balcony we had was on the side so we had views the ocean, the city, and the bay on the other side of the island. The location was great as it was right on the boardwalk. We didnt use any amenities so can't comment on that and the on-site restaurant was closed for renovation. We would definately go back. Dont have pics of room inside but do have of view.
Staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby were convenient, as was the adjoining Sunsations store, which offered a 10% discount to those who were staying in the hotel. The gentleman in the Sunsations store was so sweet and one could tell he really enjoyed his job. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and the beach view was really nice. Our room was clean, but the bathroom could use some updating (there was a tile missing on the wall). The sliding door to our balcony was broken. Staff were very attentive in looking at this, although they were sent the wrong piece to fix it. We did have a bar that also kept the door in place for safety. Parking was convenient and without issues. We would stay here again, as we also liked the location of it on the boardwalk.
