Accommodation was amazing. Everywhere was so clean and every detail thought of. Hosts were so friendly and hospitable in every detail. Would highly recommend this B&B
It was a beautiful bedroom spotles bathroom and a fantastic food.
The hostess Elaine is a very lovely person and couldn't do enough for you
The B&B HAD A LOVELY HOMELY FEELING
Excellent stay. The host was very friendly, the accomidstion was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good.
The location of the B&B is in a lovely rural settting.
Great place to stay, very clean and beautifully decorated. The greeting was warm and friendly and Elaine happy to spend time in conversation giving advice on things to see and do. The room was warm and cosy, guest lounge fantastic. Breakfast was nicely cooked
If it’s a quiet, relaxing place to stay. Look no further. Our stay was great, comfortable bed, hot strong shower, delicious breakfast and the loveliest host. We will be back
It’s a lovely little place just on the outskirts of Oban, hospitality was amazing. We was greeted when we pulled up. I will give a big shout out to the daughter and the son-in-law as they were looking after the premises for the owners. We walked Ben Nevis on Saturday and they provided a sandwich drink and a few crisps which was extremely helpful much better than a Tesco’s value meal deal. Also, we had a cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning which was lovely and not greasy, which is good. We stayed in the twin room although we are a couple we just pushed the beds together and they didn’t have any issues with that lovely size room very well kept and clean good size bathroom and just a good all-round comfortable environment.
It’s about an hours drive from Ben Nevis! Would recommend this place to anybody stay or pass through the area definitely five stars for me and good value for money. I think we paid £118 for two nights. 👍
Very friendly and helpful owner who ensured we had a pleasant stay. Please note that you will need transport to get around as this property is quite far from the nearest village. Shenavallie is situated in very peaceful surroundings where you will hear and see a lot of wildlife e.g. deer, foxes, various birds. The en-suite twin bedroom we were in had very comfortable beds but space was quite tight. There is a good choice of food at breakfast and there is a kettle with drink sachets in the room. We ate our evening meal at the Hawthorn restaurant which is excellent. When out on walks we used the cafe in Benderloch for our afternoon coffee. This is a good area to do some walking in as the old railway has been converted to a walkway where you can walk for miles. Of course there is also the sandy/stone beaches to explore on foot too.
Its a cute old house thats renovated inside. Tucked away down a long driveway in a field and hidden from sight. The lady that runs it is very nice and does a great job
Not being able to check in until 4:30 was very inconvenient as we were very jetlagged.

This is a peaceful location and very relaxing. Rooms upstairs. The bathroom was excellent and room adequate, but a slight squeeze.
Continental breakfast was nicely varied across the days of the stay and sufficient. Plenty to see and do in the area. Internet worked well.
It was a comfortable stay. Car was essential as was the hosts local information. Had a walk around the area to see Highland cattle and the bonus was sighting a red squirrel.
Hi All
Exerlent stay, just be careful of the steps into the door of the house as I nearly fell over when I went out for the first time. It could do with a
Our room was very nice. Comfortable bed, spacious and en-suite. Everything very clean. Great location for cyclists wishing to use the many safe cycle routes nearby with miles of spectacular scenery to enjoy.
The only disappointment for us was the breakfast situation. A basket delivered to your room. We could understand this at the height of the pandemic but we have stayed in several b&b’s recently serving breakfast safely in the dining room.
We would recommend this b&b but not while the current arrangements for breakfast are in place.
Very scenic location..comfortable room and bed..good advice from hostess on local places to eat. I would recommend this b and b to friends.
Only disappointment was lunch served on a tray in the room..mainly packaged food . But the virus restrictions understandably limit scope at this time.
