We both really enjoyed our stay at the Posada Independencia. The building is very secure; the room was specious and clean. The staff, Mari… and Alejandra, are amazing. They both keep the Posada - an oasis - in good shape, and are excellent cooks too. Every morning they surprised us with most delicious breakfasts, typically Mexican dishes; always prepared with love. Both ladies are very friendly, polite, helpful, and efficient. Thank you, Dr. Franz G J and Consuelo M Schmitt

The place is super clean and well kept. The staff were about the most helpful and responsive as I’ve ever encountered while traveling. The first couple of nights were hot so we kept the windows open but the hotel is on a busy street, so we had trouble sleeping. I asked for an extra fan because the ceiling fan wasn’t enough, and they provided one immediately. I should have asked sooner! The manager was incredibly available on What’s App. He helped me arrange for taxis twice. They packed us something to eat when we had an early excursion. It’s a 20-minute walk to the historic center.

Es como un eidifcio de familia tipo años 30.Muy bien todo. Aunq no es el centro-centro es caminable y seguro. Al principio semtimos algo de ruido de barrio, pero pronto nos acomodamos. La atencion es buenisima
