We both really enjoyed our stay at the Posada Independencia. The building is very secure; the room was specious and clean. The staff, Mari… and Alejandra, are amazing. They both keep the Posada - an oasis - in good shape, and are excellent cooks too. Every morning they surprised us with most delicious breakfasts, typically Mexican dishes; always prepared with love. Both ladies are very friendly, polite, helpful, and efficient. Thank you, Dr. Franz G J and Consuelo M Schmitt

The place is super clean and well kept. The staff were about the most helpful and responsive as I’ve ever encountered while traveling. The first couple of nights were hot so we kept the windows open but the hotel is on a busy street, so we had trouble sleeping. I asked for an extra fan because the ceiling fan wasn’t enough, and they provided one immediately. I should have asked sooner! The manager was incredibly available on What’s App. He helped me arrange for taxis twice. They packed us something to eat when we had an early excursion. It’s a 20-minute walk to the historic center.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich in allen Belangen perfekt. Es war sehr ruhig, hatte einen wirklich schönen und gepflegten Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und die gesamte Unterkunft inkl. Zimmer war mehr als sauber! Wirklich großes Lob auch an die Service Kraft die dies ermöglicht hat. Zusätzlich gibt es jeden Morgen ein kostenloses Frühstück, was wir allerdings erst am letzten Tag feststellten. Es gab Joghurt mit Früchten und granola sowie an unserem Tag noch zusätzlich ein Avocado Toast mit Ei. Letzteres wechselt wohl täglich und es gibt immer etwas anderes, sodass es nicht langweilig wird. Wasser gab es durchgehend was wir auch als großen Pluspunkt erachteten. Das einzige Manko ist, dass das Zimmer keine Klima hat. Es gibt zwar einen Ventilator, aber wenn es sehr heiß wird ist eine Klima wirklich von Vorteil. Alles in allem würden wir diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Danke nochmal für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Oaxaca no-colonial

Es como un eidifcio de familia tipo años 30.Muy bien todo. Aunq no es el centro-centro es caminable y seguro. Al principio semtimos algo de ruido de barrio, pero pronto nos acomodamos. La atencion es buenisima
