Good value

This is anice property at the upper edge of the historic district. It is a good value for the neighborhood. The restaurant is excellent and Iparticularly enjjoytheir vocade/tuna appetizer. Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable and I don't know why, but I had trouble sleeping for the four nights I was there.

Lovely convenient hotel close to restaurants. The staff are very hospitable and quite helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to chilled out quieter types who come to Oaxaca for relaxation , art, history and yes mezcal!

The interior of the hotel was lovely and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. However, it is an old hotel and if you want things like USB outlets in the lamps, and everything in perfect condition, you will be disappointed.

Great location, grocery store close, restaurants and bars also close by. The hotel service was great, they helped us set up several tours around Oaxaca and get our taxi to the airport. The rooms close by the restaurant tend to feel noisy so just ask for different rooms if you are a light sleeper. Overall it was a good experience.

The hotel rambles and while my room is right next to the bar, the ambiance makes up for the noise. The front doors are worth a visit. The women on the front counter couldn’t have been more lively and helpful.the waiter just introduced me to chipotle chili which took the soup to a whole new level. The Cultural area is a few short blocks away. It’s pretty convenient to almost everything and the area is quaint and beautiful.
