Excellent hotel! The hotel employees were excellent and made us feel like family! The only downfall was the water pressure in the shower, but I was told that is expected in Mexico. Will definitely stay there again!

The hotel is very much a place where you don’t spend a lot of time at. The walls are very thin and you can hear every cough, dropped item, etc. it was annoying when you’re trying to sleep but people were conversing at night. WIFI was not good, and would only work for 1 minute before kicking you out. The blinds are very see through. I actually ended up using a blanket to cover the window so that no one could peak in. Water is hot. Overall, just ok and a place for me to sleep.

Our two-week stay at Cielo Zapoteco Hotel was absolutely incredible ✨, and we’re already planning our next trip there! 🇲🇽✈️ From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome 🤗. They were genuinely kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed—it truly made our experience extra special 💛. The location couldn’t be better 📍—just a short walk to the Zócalo de Oaxaca, which made exploring the city so easy. The area felt very safe, and there are tons of shops 🛍️ and little spots to discover right outside your door. We loved being able to walk everywhere, including to the Mercado 20 de Noviembre and Mercado Benito Juárez—both about a 10–15 minute stroll 🕒. The hotel itself is charming and cozy 🏡, with only 8 rooms, which makes it feel peaceful and personal rather than crowded 🌿. Our room was always clean and comfortable 🛏️—exactly what you want after a day of exploring 🌞. Rooms also have air conditioning. The local people in Oaxaca are so welcoming and friendly 😊—it added so much to our overall experience 💫. We’re so glad we chose Cielo Zapoteco for our stay 🙌. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Oaxaca—you won’t be disappointed!

We were welcomed in right away when arriving, even getting help with our bags. Everyone who works here is kind and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable (great mattress) and the A/C worked wonderfully. We’d definitely stay again, thanks so much for your hospitality!
