I was happy my quiet second floor courtroom facing room also let me see part of the Marina and Oakland skyline. Breakfast was very basic snacks & beverages that were also available the rest of the day. Good value for the cost.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the view was amazing. The only downside was that the AC/fan was a little loud, especially at night. I also felt that the reception staff could have been more welcoming and friendly, as the interaction didn’t feel as warm or hospitable as I expected. Overall, though, I had a good stay and would definitely consider staying here again. I just hope the front desk service can be a little more welcoming in the future.

I liked the clean room, comfortable bed and the location next to the Oakland Yacht Club and the Safe Harbor Marina. If you like boats, it is a great place to stay since it is at the marina in Alameda. There was an issue with my door lock which was promptly fixed after I reported it. I loved the free parking. The only strange thing was there were no clothes hangers in the room. I inquired about this, and was told there are no hangers. So I just folded my clothes for the six night I was there. Safe travels.

The location was great; on the water, very good Chinese restaurant right by the hotel, and just minutes away from shops and In-N-Out ,about 15 minutes away from Oakland International Airport, and in a safe area. Staff very helpful. There was a scratch mark on the inside of the bathroom door, and a blue scratch mark about 6 inches long (I am guessing the paint from underneath). The shower door stuck at the bottom, so it was really hard to open and I was afraid I’d break the glass. They were out of coffee, and the complimentary breakfast is a choice of pastries and breakfast bars. Pictures of the property were misleading, as it looked like indoor access, which is what I wanted, but this was not the case. Crazy thing is that I would stay there again for the location, convenience and safety.
