There was construction early in the morning but other than that I would recommend staying here! Very close to UC Berkeley, staff is very friendly and a lot of food options.

The room was beautiful, had everything we needed and was very clean. While the area around the hotel is under construction, we weren't bothered because we were there for its proximity to Cal, a mere 5 minute walk. There are a number of tasty restaurants nearby and the Bart station is literally across the street. It was the perfect base camp for our Cal visit.

The air conditioner in my room rattled throughout my entire stay. They first offered to tix the noise and never followed up with me for a change of room. I am thankful that I didn't have to stay in the room throughout the day as I just used it to sleep for a few (uncomfortable) hours.
