Not very clean on the outside but the room itself yes. The room we rented had a jacuzzi. Very nice!! Not very comfortable with people asking for money on the property.

the room was pretty clean, the parking was okay. the location was really nice though. there’s a 7 eleven right behind the hotel and just in general there was a lot of places nearby to eat. overall really nice i would definitely go back to hayward and come back to this hotel. there was no problems at all.

My stay at Discovery Inn exceeded my expectations. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. What stood out most was how safe and cared for I felt. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive, making sure my needs were met without hesitation. In an industry where customer service can feel like an afterthought, Discovery Inn gets the basics right—cleanliness, comfort, safety, and genuine respect for guests. The room had been remodeled and had nice amenities. The area is close to downtown Hayward and BART. Staff was excellent. I didn't like the smell of the room (the cleaner/disinfectant was super strong), and the room was noisy. Also, the parking is very tight.
