The property is located in a lot of the shady area of Oakland but I feel safe being in this motel. When I arrived it was clean but we see some cigarette stain on the toilet seat and the AC knobs are all gone. No extra blankets only sheets so my kids and I were freezing at night. Since we’re just there for the concert it’s really close to Oakland arena and that’s what I’m looking for . If you have a car, u need to pay $6 for parking fee. Otherwise this property I will go back to only if I have an event in Oakland

The neighborhood is not the best, but the parking and rooms felt safe. It was surprisingly quiet given how close it was to the freeway. I don't think I'll stay again, but it was great value for the bay area.

Stayed here for the Ariana Grande concert at Oakland Arena. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from the venue. Of course you’re always a little weary when having to stay in Oakland but to be honest this property was not bad at all. The outside neighborhood is a little sketch but the hotel is gated and with video surveillance. The room itself is cleaned and comfortable. The bed was great and the linens were clean. Starr was courteous and friendly. The only bummer was having to pay $6 for parking but bc of the security I was happy to pay it. Overall I think I’ll stay here if I ever have to go to Oakland again!

The hotel is located in a seedy neighborhood, and the check-in process was extremely slow. The entire property smelled strongly of marijuana and whatever else. My room had a connecting door to the adjacent room. The door was very thin and provided almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from the guests next door. When I turned off the lights in my room, I could even see light coming through the gaps around the connecting door. Privacy and noise control were both major issues, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep.

The staff was alright. The room however was very dirty. The sheets were very dirty and the comforter looked like it had grease stains all over it. We are not one bit exclusionary of staying at any kind of place however when it feels so dirty that we check out at 1130pm, we know it’s bad.
