Vacations Close To Oakdale Cemetery

My wife and I loved the separate living room so that we could get up and not disturb each other. It also was wonderful for stopping by and taking a break when walking around town. The property is in a great location as well. The only downside was not being able to park out front easily to unload. We made it work, though and would definitely stay again!

Great location for downtown shopping & restaurants. Our room was beautiful (top floor of Rosalind Building). Yes, there are a lot of stairs so book a different floor if that’s an issue for you. Staff was very accommodating and there is plenty of room in the lobby of Rosalind to spread out if you want to hang out downstairs. Nearby restaurants - best meal was at Ukaiah. Most disappointing was Chestnut (terrible service - food was okay.)

Excellent stay. Our trip was affected by Hurricane Isaias on Saturday, so we had to make some changes. Electricity went out briefly on Saturday but the hotel provided adequate assistance to get us through the weather. Since we couldnt drive through the mountains nor hike during the storm, my son and I made good use of the Sports Complex which saved our weekend vacation. Lots of tennis, pickleball, and a racquetball courts which were all indoors. Plenty of food options at the resort as well during and after the storm. We left on Monday (when the weather and skies finally cleared up) to enjoy the beautiful views from the sunset terrace. Self parking in the vanderbilt garage was extremely convenient to our room as there is a direct entrance into the hotel wing. The Omni Grove resort helped us make lemonade out of lemons that were provided by the hurricane moving through the area during our weekend trip.

Everything was amazing easy to deal with really nice place to stay.
