The hotel was nice. Great place to stay. Food was great, golf was great. The only thing we didn't like was the smoke fir the people out side main door. Beautiful course and is challenging. Great day. Would go back in a heart beat.

We love going to Mill River every year and we aren’t even golfers! They’ve renovated the resort beautifully with local art, wool blankets and great style. The only place that could use improvement is the slow service at the restaurant and maybe a chef would help improve it. The staff are amazing and so friendly. We will be back!

We didn't choose this resort for it's golf amenities so I can't speak to that point. However, it was very family friendly with lots to do for the kids/family. We fully utilized the ability to use the pickle ball courts, indoor squash courts. Which we used the indoor courts for basketball and practicing some volleyball drills. The pool was a good size and we all had fun and enjoyed the slide. For the adults the sauna and hot tub were great and well maintained. The resort is a little further away from all the tourist parts of the island but that's what we were looking for in a location. That said, you are still only a 45minute to an hour drive away from all the key area's on the island. Local to the resort we spent a day in Alberton that wasn't far from the resort. If you are looking for a family resort for something for everyone in the family, Mill River is a great choice.

The main complaint was that the air conditioning made the hotel very cold. The dining room and bar were uncomfortably cold. Outside it was 31 degrees and inside may be 17. Our room was extremely cold and we had to actually heat the room to make it comfortable. Our room was down to 64 F. The staff were very friendly and the food good.

There were lots of activities for families. For us, our children and grandchildren (11, 7, & 4) the tubing hill pool & water slide were favorites! Our granddaughters loved the bouncy castle and we all enjoyed the Sugar Shack. It was a perfect March Break get away!
