Superb hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Made use of the laundry service with no problems. Tourist attractions are all within walking distance.

Comfortable and pleasant stay

Great place to stay in budget price, budget room is very small, so pls take the next 2 option rooms, hotel is very clean, dining area is wonderful with glass cover, care taker lady very helpful and friendly. Wifi speed can improve. Breakfast is wonderful

Enkelt hotell med en väldigt glad värdinna

Charmig, hjälpsam värdinna som också lagade väldigt god mat även om man fick vänta väldigt länge på den. Hade gärna satt ett högre betyg men kyla i rummet och restaurangen och periodvis avsaknad av varmvatten drar ner betyget.

Super hotel proche pour familles

Famille de 5 avec 3 enfants. Sejour du 09 au 10 aout 2024. Chambres spacieuses et salles de bain bien entretenues. Accueil formidable. Grande disponibilité. Tv et wifi fonctionnent par intermittance. La dame de l'accueil et du petit dejeuner est charmante et tres serviable. Son petit dejeuner avec tout fait maison comme les crepes, omelettes et pancake est excellent. L'adresse est à recommander et sa position tres centrique à Newara Elya rends tres facile faire tout à pied. Top et encore bravo à la gérante!

本来予約していたよりも広い部屋を割り当ててもらえました。 街の中心から少し坂を登っていく必要はありますが、見晴らしがよく、部屋も清潔で、良い滞在になりました。 朝食は屋上のテラスから景色を見ながら摂れるので、とても気持ち良かったです。

The property has a wonderful view and rooms overlooking Nuwara Eliya. The staff are kind and diligent, especially as there were so few of them when we stayed! The food was great also. There are lots of stairs and no disabled access, so may be unsuitable for some less able travellers. The building is a little tired and could use some small refurbishments, but it still makes an entirely pleasant place to stay

A decent hotel outside the city center

It was a decent hotel with a very sweet older couple running it. They were very nice and helpful and made good homemade breakfast up on the roof. The location was pretty bad, outside the city center and up a steep hill and quite hard to find. The walk between the hotel and city center was not very pleasant. The room was quite nice and big but could get cold at night so you had to use a portable heater. One of the neighboring hotels played extremely loud music at night and made it hard to sleep, but there is not much the hotel can do to fix that.

Koselig lite men stort hotell.

Vi hadde en fin opplevelse på dette hotellet. Det var mørkt når vi ankom så vi var spent. Rommet var stort men kaldt. Heldigvis var det ovn og dyne der. Frokosten var fantastisk på taket i et glasshus. De som jobbet der var umulig å ikke bli glad i. God tur 🙂

Great stop over at a good price

Local hospitality was great and food provided was also good. Bathroom had serious damp problem with bad small but over all for the price for a 1 night stay more than sufficient. Views were stunning.

À vrai dire un peu surpris en arrivant hôtel en travaux donc quand on le voit on se demande si l on ne s est pas trompe d établissement. Après tout nous avons eu un très bon accueil et les propriétaire vous prépare des petits plats à la demande excellents. Les chambres sont spacieuse et propres. On est proche du centre.
