Spacious suite in a quiet area. Full kitchen included. 10 minutes walk to the Colonial waterfront. Easy walk to downtown. Note that breakfast is not included, but they do have an onsite restaurant.

The place is nice and clean. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We truely enjoyed our stay! We have booked additional 2 nights of stay but due to last minute flight cancellation, we were not able to cancel in time and were only able to get partial refund, which is according to booking policy. However, the hotel is so nice to provide full refund after we wrote in. Really appreciate it! As a side note, we did check with Expedia (since we booked via Expedia), but was denied full refund.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Nordbo. The staff was very friendly, and my room felt like a home away from home. My apartment was very comfortable, and had everything I needed. Kitchen was fully stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

A good place to spend a night or two in Nuuk

This is a no thrills hotel, the room was comfortable, even included a kitchenette. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was kinda boring, even though the pastries were very good. We stayed for two nights, there room was not made, which is disappointing.

Great hotel!

Hotel Nordbo was such a lifesaver! So much of our trip was derailed because of weather issues. The hotel went the extra mile to help us along the way. They emailed the airline on our behalf when we hadn't gotten updated information, they helped make travel arrangements around town, and they made our comfort a priority. I think they have the most helpful staff I've encountered at any hotel. I really really appreciate their consideration and recommend this hotel to anyone in Nuuk. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it felt so nice to come back to the hotel every evening.

Quiet location, just as I had hoped for. Was Upgraded to Studio Apt. Kitchen niche was useful. Soap but no lotion in the bathroom. Blackout curtains good for sleeping in Nordic summer light. This is an excellent place to lodge, due to its comfortable apartments, close proximity to the Nuuk Art Museum, Nuuk Center (mall and grocery), Inussivik (the sports arena), and the Katuaq (cultural center) among other shops and restaurants. The check-in was very quick and smooth, less than a couple of minutes. The apartment was spacious and equipped with kitchen, dining table, living room area, bathroom and bedroom with plenty of closet and storage space for luggage and clothing. Temperature was comfortable with radiators in each room for control. With grocery stores being less than 10 minutes walk away, I could prepare meals right in the apartment equipped with pots and pans, cutlery, cutting board, bowls, plates, place mats, and silverware. I could also enjoy a breakfast buffet every morning in the hotel restaurant with water, juices, milk, coffee, tea, pastries, fruit, yogurt, breads and rolls, eggs, sausages and bacon. During a few days in the week and Saturday, there was a happy hour from 4-6. And the hotel restaurant w as open until about 9. Shower had adjustable head with good pressure and water temperature control was excellent. In addition, there is a laundry room in the facility with two washers and two dryers that are free of charge. The hotel is located just up the slope from one of the city’s bus stops. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location and amenities.

This was a fine hotel - very clean, very accommodating (they gave us extra towels and cleaned the room whenever we asked), and it was much cheaper than the Hans Egede which is not any better but much more expensive. Breakfast and dinner were great - and to our surprise, the hotel gave us a free pork loin dinner on our last night there. It's a :10 walk from the hotel to central Nuuk but very close to the famous harbor and several bars and restaurants.
