Vacations Close To Nu'uanu Pali Lookout

Lots of different accommodation options.. boutique resort with amazing views!!!! Morning breakfast provides fruit, banana bread coffee tea and water refills.. Bbq facilities and a small river next to the resort and lots of great seating outside and pool/jacuzzi. Sitting up there like in a treehouse with spectacular views!! Great Hawaiian experience but maybe need a few new mattresses 😉 I would absolutely return!

Everything was perfect, the staff was listening, the hôtel is closed to everyone the beach, stores etc

Has all the amenities you need and right down the street from Waikiki. Always stay here when I come to Honolulu for a reason!

This hotel gets the job done if you are looking for a place to crash that’s close to the beach. With that being said, the MOTEL (all rooms enter from outside) is really, really old. Like 1970s tile bathrooms, slat shutter windows that don’t fully close (even when windows are closed they are essentially open in terms of noise and airflow), and very dated furniture. A city trash truck camps out in back of the hotel every morning starting at 5:45am for 30 minutes and makes ungodly whirling and beeping sounds that because of the ventilation system, mean that you are guaranteed an early and loud wake up call. There is a great karaoke bar located in the hotel lobby and starting at 8pm until 2am you’ll be treated to drunken tourists singing the songs of their people. We didn’t eat at the bar but the scent of the food they sell there wafts up into all the rooms (we were on the 5th floor) and it smells delicious. We travel a lot and weren’t expecting a fancy establishment but when we returned to Waikiki we will stay elsewhere.

Pros: parking is easy and super chaleap-50 bucks per stay Location is good. Cons: the room is very dated, very squeaky murphy bed, uponenterance very strong old humid odor that reduced significantly once we started running a/c and fan. Ventilation in the hallways is non existent - neighbors couple rooms down cooked and we would get some intense and very unpleasant smells into our room and if we opened the door into the hallway- it was extreme throughout. So really, the positives were-parking, location, and price.

Room dirty, broken bathroom fixtures. Will not stay here again.
