Comfort Hotel is a low-rise away from Astana city center about 2 blocks from a main thoroughfare and walking distance from banks, restaurants, fast food, a park and convenience shops. The #70 bus stop is 2 blocks away and it goes back to city center. The staff is young, attractive and helpful. English is a little spotty but that did not affect the service at all. A pleasant international clientele. Good WiFi and free internet. Comfort Hotel is spotlessly clean. It appears to have had recent renovations. The decor is Euro contemporary and everything works. The beds are comfortable. If you want the linens changed or extra towels just ask. Only complaint is that the air conditioning could not be set as cool as I like it (hot flashes) but most people probably wouldn't mind. The exercise room was well equipped. The rooms are a bit small for a double twin but fine for a single king. There are English language channels available on the TV. The breakfast is ample with a nicely presented spread of hot dishes and beautifully arranged sliced fruits and veggie canapes. Eggs always availabe, sausage and cheeses. Extensive selection of breads, hot/ cold cereal, tea and a serve yourself coffee/espresso-maker. Comfort Hotel is a very good place from which to explore Astana without having to stay in the business center. In a city with kind of a theme park vibe (Epcot Center?), it feels normal. We would be happy to stay there again.

Was very central in Astana. Very large breakfast buffet. Staff was nice. For the price it was good. My only complaints are that I requested early check in on my reservation and upon arrival they tried to charge me a whole night to check in early. But their whole night price was double what i paid per night on here. Also, the way the bathroom walls were designed there was quite a bit of mold on the wall facing the bed. I dealt with it but it was noticeable. Also they have smart tvs which would be great but the wifi isnt strong enough to use. Was good enough to scroll through Facebook but couldnt support streaming Netflix.

Kleines aber feines Hotel umgeben von Hochhäusern. Darunter auch die deutsche Botschaft. Vom Spa-Bereich hatten wir mehr erwartet aber das war für uns nur nebensächlich. Nice hotel with great service

The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. I just wish there were more restaurants within close walking distance. There were bus stops nearby, but taking buses was a challenge for me, since I do not speak Russian or Kazakh. The breakfast buffets were very nice.
