4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The last review of this property was over two years ago, and I’m not sure where the photos were taken from. Dark, damp and mouldy facilities. Bucket and mop in shower and no toilet paper. I had to leave within the first hour of arriving. There was no mention that this place is a public place for turtles, and there were strangers sitting at your front door. Just did not feel well with the odour in the room. I just hope the turtles have better accommodations.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

A éviter !

If You are looking for an American/European resort this place May disappoint you. When I travel I like authentic local places. This place is totally Africa. Breakfast was modest and great. The food to order from the kitchen was fresh and very reasonably priced. The bring the food to you in front of your bungalow. Security was good. The highlight of my entire trip was swimming with the turtles that you can do for free if you stay here. Very close to beach and local Zoo.

Bungalows 4 minutes from the beach

It’s a cheap alternative in Zanzibar. The staff is very helpful and it’s lovely to be able to spent as much time as you want with the turtles! 20 minutes walk on the beach to the « center » of Nuwengui!
