The ocean view was amazing, and I just couldn’t get enough of it. Unfortunately, the internet connection wasn’t very stable or reliable. Overall, though, I’m still satisfied with my stay.

Positive is that the room was on the beach , very close to everything and the breakfast was great. However the room has black mold in the bathroom and air conditioning, the air-conditioning was leaking and the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.

The room was small, dark and really worn down. Not at all like the pictures. We upgraded to another room, but they asked for much more than we would have paid if we had booked the new room on Expedia. Felt like a scam. For that price we could have gotten a much nicer room at another 4 star hotell, but we had already paid in advance. The breakfast was not good at all. The staff was nice and helpful though, even though we had to ask a few times when we had been gone from 8 am - 3 pm and they still hadn’t cleaned our room.

The property was great. The pool was convenient and there was plenty of sun chairs for the amount of guests. The resort has everything you need from a convenient store, massage, PADI shop and two restaurants. The happy hour is great but the food is so-so. The hotel staff are kind and very helpful. The staff at the restaurant are kind but sometimes on island time and orders aren’t always correct, which happens sometimes. Overall would recommend. The AC in our room didn’t blow all the way to the bedroom as it was in a corner. The fan breeze somehow could not go through the bed net. And the washroom stayed fairly humid and warm.

Terrible hotel - DO NOT stay here. The room they put us in to start was literally like a prison cell. It was dirty and outdated. The next morning we moved rooms at the cost of $80 per night for an “upgrade” (we were desperate so we did it). This room was only a bit better, but came with stained bath towels and one of them had a hole in the middle of it. Neither room had reliable WiFi and if we had the A/C on too long, the power in the room went out for a few minutes. You can hardly enjoy the beach because there are “beach boys” aka scammers harassing you every 10 steps. Breakfast at the hotel was also, in my opinion, gross. The chicken they offered was a strange grey color and the fruit looked nearly rotten. We mentioned all of these things to management at check out and asked to be compensated fairly but, they didn’t care. They said they’re unable to refund us any amount as they have a “budget” to stick to.

Absolutely great location, on the beach, sunsets

This is a great base for a holiday in Zanzibar. Day trips or outings are possible from here, with the wonderful advantage to always come back to this lovely spot each day.
