A Stately home Mansion now a hotel couldn’t fault it beautiful grounds easy parking good food reasonably price 3 course meal, almost A La Carte quality for £17! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was also excellent. The meal was amazingly priced for 3 courses and the chief made the pudding from scratch. I would absolutely go back again and even if we disnt stay the night i could eat the chiefs food all day long every day

Room was clean and warm but we were there for a week and although there was no room maintenance they could at least have serviced the waste bins and replenished the coffee etc. bar service was not open many times during the day which was poor for a hotel. Wi-Fi was not the best with the television often buffering and going off. Spa was more of a leisure centre swimming pool than a true spa experience
