“Excellent clean and tidy place. Delicious daily breakfast served at the beautiful terrace with amazing view to the mountains. The hosts are incredible kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Situated in Juifen old town so close to the shops restaurants giving the opportunity to take photos of the lantern lit streets once the shops are closed and the streets are quiet.”

“Cool hidden spot”

“If you’re a regular tourist who doesn’t speak Chinese I would avoid this place. There’s no one there for check-in, check-out, or anything. When I arrived I had to call a number (mentioned on the closed door — nothing in the app messages) then 10 minutes later someone arrived to open the door for me and show me the “room”, dragging my luggage behind (nice sentiment but not helpful). The room was very small and the style of hostel (except that I had a private bathroom). Not super clean. I had to...

“Stayed there for 2 nights. The location is great, only a short walk to the attractions, including the trailhead. Even though is it close to the main attraction , but you don't hear any my noise from there during the day. Still better to take a taxi from the bus stop, or even take a Uber all the way from Taipei to the B&B. The view from the room is great. The room is spacious, the couple who welcome me is so attentive. Highly recommended.”

“メゾネットタイプのお宿です。 １階⋯ベッド、ウォーターサーバー(お湯も出る)、テレビ、シャワー＋トイレ、ドレッサー、エアコン ２階⋯ベッド、テレビ、ソファ、ローテーブル、ドレッサー、エアコン 朝食はサンドイッチのお弁当を届けてくれました。 LINEでオーナーさんに連絡を取ることができて、到着時にはバス停orタクシーのところまで迎えに来てくれました。 オススメのお店や、遅くまで開いているお店の情報を地図に書いてくれたのを参考にしながら九份散策を楽しめました。日本語が堪能なので、困ったときも安心かと思います。(特に困るようなことはなかったですが) 九份に泊まってよかった！！！と思わせてくれるお宿でした。”

“The staff was very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately after my first night there I noticed bed bug bites. I demanded to be moved to a fully sanitized room, which they did--but sanitization should happen preventively, not in response to bad customer experiences. There is no desk and no chair, so it's hard to do any work in the room. The sheets are threadbare. None of it is a dealbreaker except for the bed bugs. Thankfully my following 5 nights in the new room there was no problem.”
