Excellent venue. We attended for a wedding. We had a wonderful day, food was amazing. All staff were excellent. Stayed overnight, room and bathroom were huge and clean. Highly recommend.
Stunning property, with some beautiful rooms, lovely grounds, and good food in the restaurant. Easy parking, which is just as well as the property is a little isolated.
Another great 2 night stay at this lovely hotel and we were lucky enough to get the same room again which we love. The only downside is that it was very warm and with no air conditioning we had to leave the window open overnight and would prefer to have a fan supplied.
The staff are just great! Friendly and helpful. They made our stay.

This is an event hotel and we stayed on a quiet Sunday evening and had dinner in the restaurant. A good, well prepared meal.
Absolutely amazing hotel! So quiet and peaceful, lovely room and great views. Comfy bed and very nice bathroom. Staff were amazing, breakfast was also great. Would definitely stay again.
The property is beautifully decorated and our room very comfortable. Walking around the grounds was easy and it was very pretty along the lake side. It does front on to the racecourse which was a surprise but we wanted to be outside the main town so it suited us well. Breakfast and dinner were very nice but a little bit pricey. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with enquiries.
Very good hotel, recently modernized to a good standard but in keeping with the building. Restaurant was decent. Well priced when I stayed in a Tuesday night.
Lovely room ,nice friendly staff .bar prices not to bad .didnt stay for breakfast thought it was a little bit expensive .great to have free parking .room 204 we could hear water going through bathroom radiator which was a bit annoying, every thing else was fine.
A lovely period property. A very relaxed time spent there, which was ideal. After a very busy Xmas.

Only 16 rooms in an interesting historical building. Lovely grounds and walks adjacent with birds and squirrels. Enjoyed the food, the ambience of the bar and restaurant, nice bedroom with modern bathroom (yet "olde worlde" with roof timbers)
