My wife and I had a great 2 night stay at The Black Boys. The highlight of our stay were the breakfasts. Both the quality and quantity of the breakfast choices were the best I’ve ever had.

Great location. Breakfast was huge. Staff are really friendly. The only possible downside is that it's an old building and the bedroom floors slope so not easy for someone with balance problems!

This is our 4th stay at The Blackboys Hotel. Our room was a good size and clean. Good choices at breakfast but the portions are way too large.

The room was clean but a bit dated and the shower cubicle was much to small, the staff were brilliant and the food was the best we have had in a hotel and the portions were very big. Aylsham itself is a lovely village.

We had a fabulous stay here, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and the food was out of this world. The only thing I would say is that the parking is a pub carpark and if does get quite busy

All staff friendly and efficient. Great to have, in our opinion, excellent food -evening meal and breakfast, good ale and choice of wine by the glass, and service, all on the premises making for an easy stroll back to our room! Our room had cold water coming from the hot tap and vice versa. Took a while to work that out. Informed the manager who made a note to deal with it. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again next time we're in the area.

We really enjoyed our visit. The only thing we could say is the bed in room 103 could do with replacing, quite uncomfortable. The bathroom should be updated, along with a new bed would make the room excellent. The food we found to very good and overall we will definitely recommend The Black Boys hotel, thank you.

The hotel was ok considering its age our room was extremely noisy had no sleep for the two night's we stayed due to a busy road and the windows rattled so loudly the second night as there was a high wind we had to fill it with cardboard and tissue paper to try and dtop the rattle On the plus side the staff are lovely and the food great. The hotel is in a good position in the small town
