Charming stay

We had a very nice one-night stay here while passing through, four people in total. Convenient location with free parking, close to shops and the city center. Very nice, modern bathroom and a good breakfast that set us up well for the day. Highly recommended!

Nice and comfortable.

Nice clean rooms. We were in one that was wheelchair friendly, so the bathroom was huge. Beds were comfortable. Area was nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was nice, the bread rolls especially were delicious.

Hotel with excellent food

Everything was good. However the best thing was the food quality and the different wine selection by the glass which was described in details with pictures of the farmer/ vineyard. The hotel staff really care about the small details and want you to feel good. The hotel is close to the motorway. I could stay here again because of the excellent meal we had.

We spent two nights at Hotel Kirchspiels Gasthaus and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While the hotel may not feature the latest in modern design, its warm atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff more than compensate for any lack of trendy decor. Although the WiFi was occasionally spotty, the towels and linen were clean - and the water was hot. Breakfast was a highlight; despite slightly overcooked soft-boiled eggs, the scrambled eggs were genuinely made from fresh eggs - a rarity nowadays - and tasted delicious. The bread, waffles, brownies(!) and other accompaniments were equally enjoyable. If I return to this part of Germany, I would gladly choose Hotel Kirchspiels Gasthaus again for its excellent value for money.
