1 night of wonderful.

I had a wonderful 1 night stay at Wall Hill Farm Guest House; staying in the Feng Shui Room. I admired how luxurious to where I was staying for my very first time. One of the owners of the Guest House named Richard who can not only whip up a scrumptious breakfast, conversing with him in learning more about the surroundings and to how he and his wife Pam came to running a gorgeous Guest House.

Musty smell,very tired and dated, ripped towel

Stayed 2 nights in so called superior room which was very musty smelling upon entry. The room was extremely dated and old fashioned. I was shocked at the polyester duvet and cover which only had one button on and was well worn with holes in it. The towel had a rip in and should be binned and the door stop was completely covered in rust. The curtains were in parts coming off the rail and the view was the brick wall of the building opposite. The booklet in the room was also dated with pubs in there that had closed down years ago. The room was in desperate need of an overhaul. For £186 I expected far better. The breakfast was good and I enjoyed that.

The wall hill farm guest house was ideal for our stay , everything was to our liking. The 2pm check in time was perfect and made a pleasant change, made us feel we had a full day on arrival then able to walk to the nearby restaurants for evening meal

What a super B&B. Stayed 1 night on route to Scotland. Accomodation was lovely, clean, comfortable and stylish. The host's were very welcoming and breakfast was freshly prepared, plentiful and varied. We will definitely book again.
