The host upon arrival was extremely friendly and very helpful .the staff were ever so nice Room was very clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfy and best nights sleep I have had in a long while. The breakfast was delicious and well priced..best sausages ever! Will definitely stay again and definitely recommend.

Hotel really quaint, food in restaurant nice, bar area also really nice! Our room was well decorated with lovely bathroom only small but everything you require! The only thing I would suggest is that there was an iron and ironing board in the room!

Room was lovely and generally we enjoyed our stay . The room cleaning lady was really helpful and spotted we had left the dogs bed in the room and came out with it as we were leaving so many thanks to her The only negative of the stay was the female member of staff in the bar and restaurant area.. I would say her attitude was very negative and seemed like she didn't really want to help or even be there . We had finished our breakfast and I went up to order extra drink When she came with the drinks I had put all the plates and cups together so who ever came with the drinks they could clear the table but this individual didn't even consider to take them away..I had to call her back to clear the table as she was walking away and seemed miffed I had called her back .. Not sure her name but I've come across her before and had the same attitude... Very abrupt individual unfortunately Apart from her it was a lovely stay

Great for solo female travellers

I have stayed here several times when travelling for business. Being a female I always try and stay away from larger hotels for safety and opt for smaller,quieter hotel locations where you are a a person not just another room number. This hotel is clean comfortable and has a great restaurant. Car park can be busy but I have never been unable to park and by 9pm the pub/restaurant empties out and you can get a good nights sleep.
