Horizon is an adorable little wildwood motel in a great location to everything. Pool was clean and rooms were nice size for a family. Needs some updating but would definitely stay here again.

The expedia ad advertised the hotel as a queen suite with 2 queen beds. My husband is large and we specifically rent places with queen or king beds..THEY ARE NOT QUEEN... they are 2 full size beds in each room. The room was nice and location excellent. It is FALSE ADVERTISING.. I brought my tape measure up and measured the mattresses. We were sent to another room. ALSO FULL SIZED. WHY advertise QUEEN BEDS.. when they are full size.

The owner was rude barged in my room with my 7 year old wasted tripping over herself unannounced aggressively accusing me of smoking in the room and charging us double their smoking policy without any evidence or reason as we did not smoke in the room and it smelt of cigarettes upon arrival. The dishes in the cabinets were filthy and the bedding and floors were absolutely disgusting. The couch was stained and grimey, and the pool that was not saltwater was so dirty you would think it was. We ended up leaving in the middle of our paid stay and paying for a different place bc of how inappropriate the owner Cathy was in front of my daughter. Would never recommend this place. Also had to file a police report on vacation to make sure other travelers privacy won’t be breached.

Beware- bed bugs

Do not stay here. They have bed bugs. The management is not on-site and impossible to reach. When we finally got ahold of someone they offered no accommodations or follow up. This is not a family friendly place. Guests take advantage of no management being on-site. There was rowdy day drinking by the pool with glass beer bottles scattered all over the place. At night guests were drinking and shouting out on the balcony until well after midnight.

Would stay again, only as last resort.

The parking situation is terrible, and on 2nd night, We were sitting in our room and a rude couple was looking through our windows and the women started to try to open door with a key that had our room number on it! When my husband opened the door the rude gentleman asked my husband " where you supposed to be pal"! No apologies from office or them ! Cars are parked two to three deep, so you get blocked in and have to call office to have cars moved! Also......I was charged 42.00 for using my credit card, which I never knew about! The room was comfortable, but the set up was awful.
